What is involved in getting Trefoil™ Implant?
Your experience will start off with a consultation with one of our dental specialists from the dental implant team for a clinical diagnosis and discuss potential treatment options. If Trefoil™ is a suitable procedure for you, you will receive the surgery where three implants are placed into the jaw and receive your new teeth on the same day or a few days after implant placement.
What are the benefits of Trefoil™ Implant?
With its advanced technology, you can experience a new, life-changing teeth in just one day or a few days after implant placement. Besides, Trefoil™ implant ensures strong and long-lasting fixation of artificial teeth on implants without any discomfort.

What are the risks of Trefoil™ Implant?
As placement of dental implants is a surgical procedure, it comes with general risks including infection of the bone, numbness caused by damage to nerve tissue which may be temporary or long term, and excessive bleeding in the midst of or post surgery.
Dental implant may potentially fail to integrate with the bone after placement and a secondary procedure will be required in the event if it occurs. Some factors that may interfere with the healing process of either bone or soft tissue include:
- cigarette smoking
- infections in the neighboring bone
- uncontrolled diabetes
- oro-facial radiotherapy
- steroid therapy
How long does Trefoil™ Implant last?
Dental implant treatments are meant to last as long as you do. With consistent good oral hygiene in addition to proper treatment, your implant can last your entire lifetime. Having said that, do take note that heavy alcohol consumption, smoking, diabetes, or other clinical conditions may interfere with an implant’s integration process and its ultimate long-term success. People who grind their teeth during their sleep must also highlight with their dentist during consultation process.
