One of the most memorable cases that Dr Soo had treated was an elderly patient which had one side of her body impaired due to stroke. Her dentures no longer fit and was unable to enjoy any soft food. With patient’s limited movements being a challenging constraint, Dr Soo was unfazed and confidently did all the necessary procedures with patience and empathy to enhance patient’s quality of life. The smooth and comfortable experience also gave patient’s husband, who is suffering from weak bone structure, the assurance to have a new set of dentures. Both patients are able to eat better now. Dr Soo is thankful that through his work, he can help to improve patients’ quality of life.

Dr Steven Soo is a Prosthodontist with Specialist Dental Group®. He was formerly a Clinical Lecturer at the Eastman Dental Institute and Clinical Teacher at the GKT Dental Institute, both of which are affiliated with the University of London. He is also currently teaching future dentists in the National University of Singapore. Dr Soo has a special interest in prosthetic and implant restorative dentistry.
