Ei, our reporter, went to Singapore recently and had the opportunity to visit Specialist Dental Group®, an award-winning dental clinic.
Specialist Dental Group was founded by Dr Henry Lee in 1979. The clinic aims to be the choice for specialty dental expertise and care in Asia. Specialist Dental Group offers a comprehensive range of dental services, ranging from simple procedures to complex dental restorations such as reconstructive surgery (which is the replacement of lost jaw bone and teeth due to a tumor), and corrections for congenital anomalies of the oral cavity. Besides oral health solutions, aesthetic dental services like gummy smile treatment and teeth whitening are also provided by Specialist Dental Group.
Specialist Dental Group, comprising of four dental clinics: three at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre and one at Gleneagles Medical Centre in Singapore has been providing dental treatments to many international patients, of which 5 to 10% are Burmese patients. They come mostly for functional oral health procedures rather than oral aesthetic treatment; the adults are typically in Singapore for Business needs while the younger patients are students in Singapore.
