Specialist Dental Group is pleased to announce its participation in the Young Dentists Coaching Program (YDCP) organized by NobelBiocare in Indonesia. Targeted at young Indonesian dentists with less than five years of practice experience, the YDCP aims to provide personalized coaching and promote knowledge sharing among participants.
Using lectures and case studies discussions, the clinical team from Specialist Dental Group will provide business and clinical advice on building successful practices and also share practical tips on how to improve clinical outcomes. This will be helpful to young dentists at the start of their careers.
There will be six sessions throughout the year on different topics.

Kicking off the launch of the YDCP this Saturday, April 9, 2011 in Jakarta, Indonesia, will be Dr Neo’s lecture on Luting and Cementation. We understand that registration for this session is full.
Cementation is a short but important process in the delivery of fixed prostheses. It directly affects the occlusion, esthetics, longevity and function of the prostheses. This interactive seminar will discuss various types of cement and their application for crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays and veneers. Adhesive bonding to enamel and dentine will be explored. Selection of the right cement for different clinical scenarios will be discussed. Clinical cases of cementation failure will be shown to the participants to enhance the overall learning process.
Dr. Neo Tee Khin is a Specialist in Prosthodontics with Specialist Dental Group. He is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore and a Consultant at the National University Hospital. He completed his dental training at the National University of Singapore and obtained his specialty training in Prosthodontics from Northwestern University, Chicago. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and the American College of Prosthodontists. He is also a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. Dr Neo has over 10 years experience teaching in dental schools and sits on the Committee for Prosthodontics of the Division of Graduate Dental Studies of the National University of Singapore. He has a special interest in dental implants, cosmetic dentistry and crowns.
